A state-of-the-art video analytics system has been introduced at Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegaz’s production site, improving safety during well maintenance operations.

The hardware and software system, developed by IT company NVI Research (a subsidiary of NVI Solutions), utilizes artificial neural networks to collect and interpret data in real time from cameras and sensors installed at work sites. The system monitors compliance with industrial safety regulations and tracks changes in the condition of technological equipment.

All information is automatically recorded in an electronic event log, and the accumulated statistics enable data analysis, helping to identify priority areas for enhancing the safety culture in production.
