Five projects took part in the on-site selection, which took place on 18 November in Rome. The best startups, selected by Enel experts, will have an opportunity to implement pilot projects at the company’s facilities and, in case of success, a chance to scale their solution to the markets of the countries where the company operates.
The projects submitted for the on-site selection presented their technological solutions to Enel managers and representatives of global business lines in thermal generation and renewable energy. Over 180 startups from Russia, Kazakhstan, Finland, USA, Armenia, Singapore and other countries applied for the program. Of them 151 passed the initial expert review, then 29 startups were presented to Enel experts, who chose 5 finalist-projects to participate in the final on-site selection in Enel’s headquarters in Rome:
