The participants discussed the intricacies of forming partnerships to address large-scale challenges of the oil and gas industry. Answering the question of what comes first – technology or partnership, the speakers agreed that the priority had to be determined by the complexity of the product. The session participants concluded that partnership serves as a trigger for project development; however, it is important to divide responsibilities, needs and expectations.
