Pilot tests of CYCLOPS were successfully completed at the facilities of a major oil company in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
The exploratory tests showed the high potential of using the computer vision technology – the CYCLOPS system in the process of loading and unloading operations.
The testing and demonstration showed that, after the required modifications of the software product to the level of an industrial recognition system, it could be replicated for installation at handling facilities for video stream analysis both in real time and in retrospect; it will detect deviations from specified conditions related to the presence of objects (personnel) in dangerous areas, use of PPE and other scenarios in the course of loading and unloading works.
This technological solution was recommended for further application at the customer’s facilities.
